A Sunday morning stroll through Longwood Gardens

November 11, 2013 — What a splendid autumn we’ve had in the Northeast region of the United States. The leaves are almost gone now, but those still hanging on are spectacular.

Longwood Gardens is in the historic Brandywine Valley area of Pennsylvania in Kennett Square, the mushroom capital of the world.

  1. This has been a spectacular Fall….and I have never been to Longwood Gardens. Your pictures have convinced me to get there. Thanks for all the inspiration I get from your blogs!

    1. Thanks, Bea. I had never been before Dave and I went to a concert there two summers ago. It is beautiful, and I hear even more spectacular at Christmas.
